Halloween!

Eli, his parents, and Emma get ready for trick or treat
Emma celebrated Halloween with her BBFF (best boy friend, forever), Eli this year. So much fun. This was the first time she really understood halloween and she kept telling us "trick or treat." She also would point out all the pumkin, witch or ghost decorations as we drove home from school each day. So she was primed! Emma was a witch this year, but her costume was nowhere near as well received as Eli's...he was Bob the Builder, complete with a tool belt. Every house we went to commented on his cute costume. I will have to come up with something more creative for Emma next year!

Emma did get scared at one house and keeps talking about "the mask" (the guy was wearing a pretty scary mask) I tried so hard to make sure we didn't go by any scary houses because Emma has nightmares and wakes up crying at times. Thank goodness she has not had any "mask" dreams so far! What a fun Halloween.

We did a lot of other fun things this weekend, but unfortunately I forgot my camera, so I can't post about them. No matter, this is a busy week with Emma's birthday on Tuesday, my cousin Judy visiting from Boston on Wednesday and Emma's birthday party on Saturday...Stay tuned!
